Did you know that there's a new mood boosting beverage in town and I'm dying to tell you about it! Big thanks to Anchor Food Professionals for inviting me and my girls to have a taste of what Moodmojee Campaign has to offer. Before I go on, let me share with you a lil’ about what Anchor Food Professional does. Basically they will collaborate with their clients to present 6 new dairy beverages that uses Anchor dairy products. And the outlets in Penang that Anchor is collaborating is Lavish Fusion Bakery and Hive by Love a Loaf Bakery. Designed as a mood booster, the range of beverages brings unexpected pairing to surprise your tastebuds.
There's a limited time only that they'll be serving these beverages from November 2018 till January 2019, so if you wanna try'em hurry before Moodmojee campaign ends. And let me show you what beverages they have to offer. There are 6 beverages introduced but only 3 are served in both these outlets, they are Kayanika Fusion, Lemon Mint Meringue and Yuzu Chocolate Surprise.
Kayanika Fusion which was created by Chef Firuz is a milky drink layered with sweet traditional Kaya, gula melaka, pulut and also red beans. What surprised me in this drink was the pulut. It changed the whole game in beverages lol. The Kayanika Fusion is bound to be a Malaysian favorite as the main ingredients just ensembles what us Malaysians love. I also love how the drinks is beautifully decorated and with a piece of bread and also pandan leaf, tho the pandan leaf can't be eaten but then the bread can. And it goes perfectly well with the Kayanika Fusion.
Also created by Chef Firuz, the Lemon Mint Meringue is a rich lemon mint vanilla ice blended, topped with a strong dollop of freshly whipped and torched meringue with slices of candied lemon and orange. I personally prefer this drink among the 3 cause of the interesting taste of lemon and orange in this drink. I love sourish stuff and this suited my taste more. The whipped cream used in these beverages are products from Anchor.
Last but not least the Yuzu Chocolate Surprise. It is a mixture of iced chocolate with Yuzu puree and rimmed with salt lemon cooling candy. Created by Chef Ichiro, the pairing of rich and sweet chocolate mixing with citrus Yuzu really offers and interesting taste. What's really interesting to me is the rimmed salt lemon candy really made the drink look like a tequila shot to me. Lol don't judge, I do drink just not as often as last time anymore.

These 3 beverages really gave my tastebuds a surprise to new taste that just made me go thinking, wow how do people think of mixing these flavors together? If you're looking for something milky you can try the Kayanika Fusion, if you love zesty drinks then your best choice to try would be the Lemon Mint Meringue. If you're adventurous enough, try the Yuzu Chocolate Surprise, it'll definitely blow your mind. Lol
