Taiwan Expo 2020 is Back in Malaysia and Going Online on Nov 25th

TAIWAN EXPO 2020 is back and will be having their exhibition in Malaysia for the fourth consecutive year! It will be a little special this year due to the pandemic as Taiwan Expo will be going online from November 25th to 27th!

7 major pillars, 13 themed pavilions, and a whirlwind of economic activity & trade over 3 days of virtual reality exhibition , informative online seminars, and exclusive one-on-one e-business matching sessions with 200 Taiwanese exhibitors, Taiwan and Malaysia can jointly explore endless business opportunities! The organizer, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), stated that this year’s Taiwan Expo will exhibit 7 major pillars which include Taiwan Food, Taiwan Lifestyles, Health Care & Beauty, Gadgets & Green Tech, Industry 4.0, Tourism and Halal Taiwan. Additionally, there’ll be 13 themed pavilions.

Taiwan’s deployment of various advanced resources during the outbreak of the pandemic has won a global praise. In order to share about their experiences in epidemic prevention, TAITRA has integrated more than 2,000 Taiwanese epidemic prevention businesses and 20 medical institutions to create an online “Taiwan Global Anti-Covid-19 Pavilion”. In addition to exploring the key to successful epidemic prevention in Taiwan, participating companies are more than happy to share their experiences. This will also be a great opportunity for Malaysia’s industry players to discuss about cooperation opportunities.

Bring Home New Businesses and Prizes with E-business Matching

The Virtual Taiwan Expo will be using iStaging’s virtual reality technology, which allows visitors to enjoy the sensory experiences of attending an on-site event and view the products in a 360-degree angle. Buyers who sign up for any one-on-one online trade meeting will have the chance to participate in an exclusive lucky draw contest! For each online trade meeting you sign up to attend, you’ll be given one entry after filling out the questionnaire. If you attended 10 trade meetings, then you will have 10 entries. Connect with more Taiwanese exhibitors for a greater chance to win the grand prize! Throughout the three days, potential buyers can also use the “chat now” function to make an appointment or to purchase the product immediately.

As for their online activities, five webinars will be conducted, respectively about smart medical, green products, Taiwan halal products, and more. The annual Taiwan Excellence Awards Ceremony will also be broad-casted live in Malaysia in the morning of the second day of the exhibition (November 26). Malaysian buyers are cordially invited to have a first-hand look of the newly awarded products. All of the Taiwanese exhibitors would like to take this opportunity to find a suitable partner in Malaysia!
