Given the chance to attend this year's Taiwan Expo which was held in Penang for the first year really opened my eyes to how Innovative Taiwanese could be. Products and services that exhibited during the expo were more than 100 exhibitors participated and each Pavilion showcased them professionally. Since it's the first year Penang, I was able to witness "Taipei Your Partner" exhibiting their innovation and business opportunities.
Taipei City Government has participated for the second year this year and their main aim is to introduce the diverse aspects of what Taipei has to offer to us locals under 4 sub themes; "Invest Taipei", "Fine Goods Taipei", "Travel Taipei" and "Connect Taipei" which had 14 Taipei companies to exhibit their products and services in this Expo. Taipei Your Partner Pavilion was featured as an online sales to encourage business expansion among the exhibitors.
"Fine Goods Taipei" showcased products from different industry which also includes "SEXYLOOK Enzyme Mask" known to be the most popular mask product produced by Shinybrands, had definitely caught my eye. Not forget MIRAE'S 8minutes mask. Other than beauty products, there's also showcases of innovation products by WorldiBuy such as a really cute digital owl which works as a CCTV, a wearable scarf device that could allow you to change the temperature to your liking, and also a really cool party shades which allows you to write your name, or a shout-out on it. ( the moment I saw the scarf I was already wow-ed). There was also a tumbler which comes with a speaker! "Travel Taipei" introduced KKday, an online platform which allows you to know about Taipei's trending tourist attractions by just clicks away. KKday allows travelers to choose their own itineraries , which would make travel arrangements easier. "Invest Taipei" which links with "Connect Taipei" introduced the living environment and investment opportunities in Taipei.
On the 5th of July, I was honored to witness the signing memoranda among the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei (IEAT), the city's largest business organization and the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) to strengthen future strategic cooperation. It is hoped that more cooperation opportunities could be created through the exchange of local recognized organizations in Malaysia.
Taiwan Expo 2019 was a great exposure for me and Taipei Your Partner brought their innovation to the next level which I personally feel it's a great opportunity to have business exchange among us Malaysian and Taipei.
